This role demands exceptional oral and written communication skills, coupled with a highly personable demeanour. Ideally have a strong grasp of all functions within a multidisciplinary agency however this is not essential.  You will be required to have excellent organizational, interpersonal, and multitasking abilities. The ideal candidate will exhibit a diplomatic, solutions-oriented approach, an acute eye for detail and accuracy, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with creative teams, developers, and client service professionals. 

The Traffic Manager will have responsibility for planning, co-ordinating and controlling the multi disciplines within the agency production services to ensure projects are well organized, efficient, and on schedule while maximising the agency’s profitability. You are expected to work closely with all creative, developers and client service teams to allocate the appropriate resource and schedule and track the progress of projects, monitoring team workloads and ensure deadlines are met. The Traffic Manager role is primarily an administrative and supervisory one. 

In summary, our Traffic Manager’s role is like that of a conductor, orchestrating the smooth operation of projects, ensuring each team and task harmonises perfectly with each other to achieve timely and quality results. They balance the needs of the creative process with the structure of operations, enabling the agency to meet client expectations, stay on budget, and deliver consistently excellent work. 

Key Responsibilities  

  • Workflow Coordination: Assign tasks, optimise processes, and manage team workflows. 
  • Deadline Management: Monitor project progress, resolve delays, and update stakeholders. 
  • Resource Management: Balance workloads, plan capacity, and manage freelancers. 
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve bottlenecks, adjust plans, and ensure smooth workflows. 
  • Quality Control: Enforce standards, maintain documentation, and ensure approvals. 
  • Communication: Lead production meetings, act as a central resource contact, and align teams. 
  • Reporting: Track productivity, monitor efficiency, and provide insights to management. 

Required Personal Attributes and Experience 

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience overseeing workflow systems in a multi-disciplinary agency or related industry. 
  • Experience with using workflow systems and proficient in Microsoft 365 Office 
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication, be highly personable 
  • Good understanding of all the functions in a multi disciplined agency, however operating in a related environment which demonstrates similar skills will be acceptable  
  • Must demonstrate excellent organisational, interpersonal and multitasking skills 
  • Display a diplomatic, can-do, solutions-driven attitude 
  • Acute eye for detail and accuracy 
  • Ability to build and manage strong relationships with creative, developers and client service teams.
